As spotted on BBC.com: It looks like there will be a new spate of Dr. Who themed toys on the market soon – timed to coincide with the revived television program (one of my absolute all-time favorites if you pay attention to my sci-fi prattle). Chief among these will be radio-controlled Daleks, one of the Doctor’s most-hated enemies and clumsiest-looking robots in the history of cinema.
The company that will be making the toys, Character Options, is the manufacturer of the hit “Robosapien” programmable robotic toys and expectations would run high that these toys would be marginally more interesting than the real McCoys.
