I’m very happy to announce that my friend Joe Connolly’s product “Joe’s Sticky Stuff” is now available at a Restoration Hardware near you! (hint: look in the Stocking Stuffers section) Joe’s Sticky Stuff is most easily described as an aggressive, pressure-sensitive tape, but it’s almost entirely unlike any tape that you’ve ever used because it isn’t a strip of cloth imbibed with adhesive….
Instead, it is a squishy, clear strip of sticky material that can be laid flat or molded into tight spots. You can use it like the blu-tack stuff that teachers use, but without the residue. Joe’s Sticky Stuff is as easy to remove as it is to apply, so long as you pull in a direction parallel to the surface – if it’s on a wall, pull along the surface of the wall (think: sideways) instead of straight away from the wall.
I began the artwork for Joe’s packaging over a year ago so I understand just a little bit of the long and winding road he took toward getting his “sticky stuff” to market. This holiday season when you’re in Restoration Hardware be sure to pick up a tin!
