Pirate Palooza will culminate in a pub sing performed by popular local groups who specialize in Irish folk songs, English sailing ditties and other popular pub classics, skewed toward pirate-themes of course.

And so goes “Love & The Dragon”…. the kind of movie the judges decided was too big to be made for $100k in like-kind services from local equipment houses, but should be too small to have anything other than minor threat actors in the lead roles. A trillion tons of potential energy just waiting to blow…..

The light changed and Floyd went into high-speed pursuit mode while I navigated through fifteen obtuse windows to erase an old photo in order to make room for this in-the-field spotting of one of my license tags. Isn’t this supposed to be the 21st Century? Why does my camera phone have less onboard memory than my Atari 800XL? Why, Sony-Ericsson? WHY???

Last week I picked up the shirts from Larry West Signs up in Roswell and am almost ready to begin selling them from the website.

What really struck me as I moved around the party were the people who cornered me to discuss my “Film Georgia” license plates. In fact, I sold TWO tags tonight with no intention of doing anything other than seeing some old friends.

Making this license plate a high-visibility item would, in my opinion, lend momentum to a tax incentive measure and the resultant press from the latter would help advertise the license plate pre-order to a wider audience. Win, win.

However, Governor Sonny Perdue noted the intense interest in this industry movement and appointed a diverse group of analysts and industry experts to study this issue in depth.
